According to police, in Norway Nightclub shooting, a gunman dressed in black shot and killed two people and injured 14 others at a crowded nightclub in the Norwegian capital of Oslo early Saturday morning, authorities had no information about the assailant or the purpose of the shooting.
Police have asked witnesses to assist them in identifying the shooter. Any group does not immediately take responsibility.
The attack came just three days before municipal elections that are set to deliver a major setback for Norway’s ruling center-right parties, who have been weakened due to an influx of refugees from Syria and Iraq into Europe over the last year.
